Brick Beat Privacy Policy
Last updated: 2026-06-02
1. Overview
DNApps ("we", "us", or "our") respects your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how data is handled in connection with the Brick Beat app available on the Apple App Store and Google Play.
Brick Beat is a free-to-play music brick breaker. Core gameplay works offline. Online features such as ads, Distance Rank, friends, invite links, Beat Market, public beat reporting, and reward claims require network access.
2. Account and identity
Brick Beat does not require account sign-in.
The app may create a generated user identifier, numeric player code, and nickname so that online features can work without a login. These values may be used for:
- Distance Rank submissions
- friends and invite links
- Beat Market public pack ownership, purchases, and reports
- beat sale and referral reward claims
- basic service integrity and support troubleshooting
You can change your nickname in Settings.
3. Data stored on your device
The app stores gameplay-related information locally on your device, including:
- coin balance
- upgrade levels
- settings
- Run best and checkpoint state
- leaderboard cache
- local and purchased beat packs
- reported public beat markers
- reward receipts and activity history
On iOS, gameplay progress may also sync via Apple iCloud Key-Value Storage, managed by Apple under Apple's own privacy policies. On Android, local app data may be included in Android's automatic backup if enabled on your device.
4. Beat Labs, microphone, and user content
Beat Labs lets you record or import short sounds, trim them, save local packs, preview packs, and optionally publish public beat packs.
Microphone access is optional and is requested only when you choose to record audio. Audio recorded or imported for local packs stays on your device unless you choose to publish a pack or use a network feature that uploads pack data.
If you publish a beat pack, the public pack may include user-created audio, pack metadata, owner identity metadata, preview/purchase counts, and report status. Other players may preview, purchase with in-game coins, or report public packs.
Do not upload audio or metadata that you do not have the right to share.
5. Advertising and tracking
Brick Beat uses the Google AdMob SDK to display rewarded ads and interstitial ads. The app also uses the Google User Messaging Platform (UMP) SDK to manage privacy consent for users in regions that require it, including EU/EEA GDPR and applicable US state privacy rules.
On iOS, the app may request permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency (ATT) framework. If you grant permission, your device's advertising identifier (IDFA) may be shared with Google and its advertising partners to serve personalized ads. If you decline, ads may be served in a non-personalized or contextual mode.
On Android, the AdMob SDK may use the Android Advertising ID for ad personalization. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your device's Settings > Privacy > Ads.
On both platforms, the AdMob SDK may collect the following types of data:
- device identifiers
- coarse location
- ad interaction data
- app interaction data
- diagnostic and performance data
- crash data
This data is collected and processed by Google under Google's privacy policy: https://policies.google.com/privacy
On iOS, the app participates in Apple's SKAdNetwork for privacy-preserving ad attribution.
6. Analytics and diagnostics
We do not use a separate general analytics SDK. However, AdMob and platform services may collect diagnostic and performance data as part of normal operation.
Apple and Google may also independently process platform-level diagnostic information under their own policies.
7. Online service data
Brick Beat uses online APIs for ranking, friends, Beat Market, reports, referrals, and reward claims. Depending on the feature you use, the service may process:
- generated user identifier
- nickname and player code
- Run best distance, depth, heat, and related ranking metadata
- friend links and invite/referral metadata
- public beat pack metadata and uploaded pack data
- preview, purchase, report, sale reward, and referral reward records
- request timestamps and basic operational logs
We use this data to provide the requested app features, maintain service integrity, process in-game coin rewards, and respond to reports or support requests.
8. Customer support requests
If you contact us directly for support by email or through a support form, we may process the information you choose to provide so we can respond. This may include:
- email address
- message content
- screenshots or screen recordings
- device details
- app version
We use this information only to provide support, investigate issues, and comply with legal obligations.

9. Children's privacy
Brick Beat is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. The ad experience is managed by Google AdMob, which may apply its own age-appropriate ad policies.
10. Sharing with third parties
Advertising data may be shared with Google and its advertising network partners as part of ad serving.
Public beat packs and related public metadata are visible to other players through Beat Market. Reports may be processed by our moderation tools and service providers.
We do not independently sell personal data to third parties.
11. Retention
Locally stored gameplay data remains on your device, and in iCloud on iOS when sync is enabled, until you delete the app, clear app data, or overwrite the local save.
Public beat packs, ranking records, friend links, reports, and reward records may remain on our service as needed to provide app functionality, preserve earned rewards, process reports, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.
Advertising data collected by Google is retained according to Google's data retention policies.
Support communications may be retained only as long as necessary to respond to the request and comply with legal obligations.
12. Your choices and rights
You can:
- choose whether to use Beat Labs recording
- choose whether to publish beat packs
- report public beat packs in the app
- delete your own public packs where the app provides that option
- manage ad tracking through iOS or Android privacy settings
- contact us about support records, public content, or deletion requests
On iOS, you can control app tracking through Settings > Privacy & Security > Tracking. On Android, you can manage your advertising ID in Settings > Privacy > Ads.
